My fellow Tanzanians, I want to remind you three important points: 1. We are one of the most peaceful nations on earth - because we value human life, and discourage and even punish excessive individual greed; 2. Every Tanzanian has a home or a roof over his/head - because our beloved constitution does not allow appropriation of massive acres of land in few hands. 3. If Tanzanians take globalization from the wetern perspective we will allow the richest and greediest individuals and companies (mostly foreign) to exploit Tanzanian natives, small companies and service organizations to the extent that Tanzanian natives work like slaves to make the few foreign companies and individuals richer and richer. I am urging the Tanzanian leadership to encourage and monitor re-definition of globalization in our own terms, so that we allow a type of globalization that makes it possible for every Tanzanian to continue to have land on which to build a home, access to clean water, good health care and high quality education. If you are Tanzanian, you value human life first, and that way, you have contributed to the peace that is unparalleled anywhere else on the globe. Western globalization will fragment our very nature. Let us re-define globalization our way!
